Communications, social media, media relations, and advocacy work are areas of passion for Lina. She is very interested in social and cultural perspectives on aging particularly from the perspective of a first generation Canadian with two immigrant boomer parents. Lina has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Alberta and completed the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). She has spent a number of years learning from and serving the seniors housing and care sector in Alberta. She now provides consulting services for the not-for-profit sector and seniors living sector. She currently resides in Vancouver, BC.
