These two new instrumental CDs are produced by musician Bev Foster and available through the Room 217 therapeutic music resource library at www.room217.ca. Warm Breezes (guitar and piano) and Classical Comfort (piano) join three earlier Room 217 CDs in a series originally intended to bring comfort and inspiration for the dying and their caregivers. But the series has come to be used much more widely: to reduce stress; promote sleep; lower one’s heart rate; provide room ambiance; and encourage self-expression. Warm Breezes is aimed at the Boomer generation, including such classics as Let It Be and Time in a Bottle. Classical Comfort includes selections by Brahms, Debussy, and Liszt.
